Requirements and Challenges

The Company, Offerman Kozijnen, tries to find a solution for the wood dust that is generated during manufacturing wooden doors and windows by CNC machining. They had already tried the classical bag type filter units.

However, result was unsatisfactory because the bag filters get clogged very easily and they required high amount of maintenance. In addition to this, this classical bag type filter units have fan units before filtration.

This means that dirty air which is full of wood dust passes through fan. This results in a capacity reduction due to the accumulation of wood dust inside the fan chamber.

Solution

  • VANTERM installed ACW-123 Woodworking filter units. ACW models diminish the maintenance need thanks to its unique cartridge filters and automatic jet pulse cleaning. As a result, ACW-dust collectors provide a safe environment for the workers.
  • ACW-woodworking filter unit’s dust bin which are designed for high volume dusts with big loading capacity reduced the maintenance time for unloading the dust bins by their special design.
  • On the other hand, only the clean air passes over the fan in ACW- filter units. By the help of this, wood dusts cannot be accumulated inside fan and cause balance problems. As a result, it avoids possible causes of maintenance and failures.
