SAR MAKINA was founded by Turkey’s leading copper manufacturer SARKUYSAN in 1991 which is not only the leader of copper wire manufacturing in Turkey, but also one of the best known manufacturers in the world of copper wire. SAR MAKINA is engineering, manufacturing and contracting company.

SAR MAKINA has a laser cutting machine from MAZAK in its production hall. However, they were not glad with the performance of the existing filter unit at MAZAK laser. Therefore, SAR MAKINA was looking for a better filter solution, in order to avoid the indoor dust – smoke problem caused by the laser cutting. In the existing dust collector, the filter cartridges were clogged constantly, which led to high filter replacements costs.

Solution

  • VANTERM offered a PL-3000 laser filter unit, according to its investigation and calculations. Since the indoor machine lay-out was too dense, SARMAKINA has replaced the PL-3000 outdoor, under a shelter.

  • The laser operators are very glad and pleased with the user-friendly design and simple operation of the VANTERM PL filter unit.
